The beach hut is situated on a very lovely area of the coastline at Holland on Sea. 

It is within easy reach of the toilets and also the tap for water supplies.

• Should you wish to buy snacks ‘The Flag Cafe’ is just past the toilet block and they provide a good and varied menu, including some really exceptionally nice home made cake. Food available to eat there, or take away, all at reasonable prices. Another possible plus to the location is that there are no amusements for children in the vicinity. Nearest ones are a short walk along the promenade to Clacton Pier. The hut contents include many items required for a nice day by the sea, or, for an evenings fishing. Or of course, to watch the Clacton Airshow.

There are some Buckets and Spades, various Bats and Balls, Chalks, some Interlocking Rubber Mats and even an Inflatable Dingy (suitable for small children to use whilst supervised). There is also a Portaloo. This which may come in handy during winter months when the toilets are closed.

 There are two adult sized Beach Chairs, a Windbreak  and a selection of Crockery and Cutlery. 

It can be a very nice thing to own for family & friends to make use of but also as a small business venture. Currently the Council rates for the small business Beach Huts are Zero rated. Plenty of people are wishing to rent a hut, in preference to buying one. I believe that currently you may rent a Beach Hut along that stretch of coastline for about £70 a day.

Vehicles have only limited access to the promenade, but there is on-street parking along the esplanade and there is also a car park almost opposite the slope leading down to the sea area. 

Any Beach Hut Owner can apply for two parking permits for the Clacton area.

Beach Hut Owners are advised to join the Clacton & Holland Beach Hut Association. The Association is available to give advice and keep members up to date with any rules and regulations pertaining to their ownership.   The Association also arrange regular patrols to keep an eye on the huts of members.
